The home headquarters _ of this company will be either at Seward or Fairbanks, a de cision has not yet been ar rived at by the men who are promoting the company as to just which place is the most desirable and .at the sAme time the best location for furthering the plans of the comoany. The main ob ject of this company will In to bring to the Territory'o ' Alaska men and women wh' are desirous of locating her and making Alaska thei home. With the completio of the government railroa betwen Seward and, Fai banks, an assured fact in th near future, all signs poin\ ing to a continually growin stream of prospective sc' tiers during the next fe years and each and eve one of these people will cor to Alaska seeking that thin in which they are most inte ested. It is the object of th men who are forming the C ficial Territorial Investigal ing company tc do just tha which the name of the (lor pany implies. Offices will fr opened at different points b' tween here and the Kuskc kwim country and statione' in each one of thes office will be a man who is thoro ughly familiar with local cor ditions and who has on file in the office a complete col lection of facts and statis tics relative to every indus try or possible future indus try in the vicinity. It will be the duty of this man to ans wer all letters and inquiries regarding any subject about which prospective settlers de sire information. This infor mation will be furnished ab solutely free to those desir ing it and will consist of nothing but facts. There will be no affiliation between the company and the local Cham ber of Comerce. There will be no attempt made by the company to interfere in any way whatsoever with the plans of any Chamber of Commerce or commercial Club. The sole object of the company will be to populate Alaska with as many desir able persons as possible, in the shortest time possible, without misrepresenting one single thing that might in the future reflect upon the judgement of the company or cause dissatisfaction with the new settlers. . Every letter. written by the company to people who are contemplating coming tc Alaska to settle permanent ly in some section of the vast empire will contain nothing but “facts.” There will be no camaflaged hot air of artis tic pamphlets to induce peo ple to come to Alaska. There will be no attempt to create a stampede to any certain section.
