(/R)— The U. S. army fliers arrived from Salina Cruz, Mexico. SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 28. (;P)—1Ten modern argonauts flying in the army’s pan-American flight, will see more of the western hemisphere in the 133 days which their tour will consume, than Pizzaro, Cortez and all of the rest of the conquistadors saw in a cen tury. Swinging south along the coast from Brownsville, Texas, the flight will skirt the eastern shores of Mexico, which Cortez explored, until it reaches Puerto. The voyage will then turn inland and make the trip from the At lantic to the Pacific, which cost Bal boa many a weary day, in less than twenty-four hours, landing at Salina Cruz. The West coast of South America will form the landmark for the flyers until they reach France Field, in the Canal zone. They will cross the con tinental divide to visit Cartagena on Columbia’s Atlantic coast. They will retrace their flight from that point :o France Field and again fly south, cruising along the mountainous coast )f South America to Valdivia which s in about the center, north and south of Chile. Neuquen Argentina, almost directly ?ast of Valdivia across the Andes, is he next stop and another day of fly ng will bring the aerial conquistadores >ack to the Atlantic seaboard where hey will turn north along the sea oast. At Buenos Aires the party will [esert salt water for a flight up the Jarana river to Santa Fe, Corrientos nd Asuncion. The latter is the chief ity in Paraguay. The return to the seacoast will car y the squadron back to Buenos Aires rom where it will make its way orth, around Cape Marien to the hree Guianas. A short hop across he Atlantic will put the squadron in ts base at Trinidad. From Trinidad visit will be paid to Venizuela be ore the flyers start on the last lap f their journey home. Short hops . rill take them through the West In- t ies to Cuba. From that point the ^ rip will follow the Atlantic coast of ^ he United States to Washington. Ma- ^ or Herbert A.
