MANY COMPANIES TAKEN OFF LIST OF SECRETARY KARL THEILE AN. NOUNCES 56 ARE DROPPED FROM TERRITORIAL LIST Fifty-six corporations have been stricken from Territorial corporation lists, as provided by law, for failure to pay their corporation taxes Iji two successive years, it was an nounced in Juneau by Karl Jheile, Secretary of Alaska. Of the com panies dropped, 32 were foreign, and 24 domestic. If application for reinstatement is made prior to July 2, this year, the corporation stricken may be reinstat ed by paying all back taxes and pen alties, and an additional penalty of $20. Most of the companies named have been dissolved and a number of them were succeeded by other cor porations.
