Mr. Nolan is employed by the government at the radio station at Mile Seven. Miss Curley has been working in the office at the O'Neill stroe. • * * Chas. Simonstead, mining engineer for the Hurlock copper properties in the Kotsina district, returned to Cor dova, after having spent a couple of months in Seattle, receiving treatment for a broken leg sustained last April. He is able to strut about with the as sistance of a cane. • • * About 110 tons of freight, including an air compressor, pipe, steel, 10,000 galons of gasoline and food supplies, are to be taken to the Hurlock pro perties as soon as the freighting con ditions are favorable, under the super vision of Mr. Chas. Simonstead. • • * Charles W. Regan, Jno. Hill and Marion Hansen were arrested in Cor dova recently, and found guilty of vagrancy. • ■ • Andy McKenzie, well known Fair banks hotel man, has purchased the Gilsey House from H. H.
