I I t LECHNER LEAVES ON LONG TRIP GERMIINIf Among the prominent local business men to have left for the States on the S. S. Alaska was Charles Lechner, proprieter of the Seward Machine Shop. Mr. Lechner is making his first journey home to the land of his birth, Germany, in many years. His mother is becoming quite feeble and it is for -| this reason—a son’s duty to his par ent— lie is making the trip. He will remain at the home of his mother for at least over the holidays before returning home. He will go to the East coast via the Panama Canal. WHAT! AGAIN?
