For a good many years people have thought that the real brains of the Ford concern lay not so much in Mr. Ford as in members of his staff. That conclusion may be correct or incorrect. But Ford has had the mental ca pacity to surround himself with an organization that does his bidding. In Ford’s own language, he employs no “experts”. Ford is sufficiently expert himself to employ men who will do the things that Ford wants in Ford's way of doing them. With others in the automotive industry, Mr. Ford has contributed to the world's progress in industrial man agement, as well as in “getting you there and getting you back,? (JP)—A beef steak party for five men ended abruptly when one of their number choked to death on a mouthful of meat. The feast had scarcely start ed when Patrick Clements, age 47, from Alaska, who had startled his companions with his avidity.suddenly burst into a fit of coughing and dropped dead. (JP)—Be cause the blacksmith shop here has closed, Mrs. L. E. Rich, wife of a Lodgepole Creek rancher, had to travel 125 miles to Roundup, Mont., to have an aching tooth extracted.
