He left Colorado abodt 1&90 for Alaska and is supposed to have been in the Klondike region. He was about six feet tall and, if alive, would be about 63 years old. Any informa tion relative to Mr. Harper should be sent to the Governor’s Office at Ju neau, Alaska. Mr.and Mrs. E. E. Maillot of San Francisco, passed thru Seward yes terday enroute to Fairbanks where Mr. Maillot will be associated with the F. E. Co. Mrs. F. de la Vergne, -wife of the mayor of Fairbanks, who arrived in the city Saturday from the South, departed yesterday for the Interior. SERIOUS FIRE LOSS B. M. Volk man and F. S. Neil, formerly owners of the Yukon saw mil! at Klondike City and now own ers of the lumbering firm of F. 3. Rodman, old timers from the Fairbanks country, were among Saturday arrivals from | the States who departed yesterday ; for the Interior. Daniel H. Hevwoitth of Boston, thru Seward yesterday enroute North Capt. George A. TOM'S SON AND HEIR Tom Jones, who returned to Seward Saturday from the States after an absence of several months,, brings back word he is now the father of a fine little five months old boy, Tom, Jr. Mrs. Jones is remaining at their home near Seattle for the summer where this fall Mr. Jones will rejoin the family. He is now enroute to Cache Creek where he will work for Jim Murray.
