James E. Ryder, recently convicted in Fairbanks of embezzlement, will probably arrive in Seward this even ing on his way to McNeil Island. Lynn Smith, U. S. Marshal of the Forth Division, is now vis ting in his former home at Newcastle Indiana. Gua Gelles, merchandise broker, who left Seattle last Saturday, homeward bound from a business trip to the states, arrives today on .the Aleutian. Dave Dunbar and Oscar Hart, tra veling men, are on the liner Aleutian, due in Seward this afternoon.
