ketball game will be played oft to

ment to the visiting Elks’ and
other travelers; second, to raise
a few dollars to make up the defi
cit from the Cordova-Seward ser
ies.
i The High School and City teams
are billed to appear in the main
event, with the High School girls
and the Second String boys team
supplying the action in the first
canto, or prelim.
An admission charge of 50c for
adults and 25c for children and
students, will be made.
The first game will start prompt
ly at 8 o’clock, The champ referee
in Alaska, F. Groth, is billed to han
die the big game.

rived in Seward today from Valdez
court headquarters, enroute to
Anchorage where court will be in
session for about two weeks. Ac
companying Judge Hill are Miss
Eunice Mays, deputy clerk; A. G.
Kappelman, clerk of the court;
W. N. Cuddy, district attorney and
E. T. Wolcott, court reporter. All
are registered at the Van Gilder.
