In any case, the oldest rags one possesses will be in order; for the first time in years, many will un doubtedly be at ease, preferring rags to riches and ‘soup and fish.’ All decorations in Dreamland— silly name, whut?—will be in har mony writh the attendance, trim mings plucked from yon hill and dale being the motif. It is also reported that very near beer will be served at the Punch Bowl. During intermissions, the Firemen’s quart-et, composed ' of whiskey tenors, beer-tones and j alcos, will render that plaintive melody “Out Where the Wets Be j gin.’ Another rendition may be i “Alaska, the Fusel Oil Frontier.” -* ! Don’t lose the will to win .... don’t join the pessimists who see naught but disaster ahead— During a previous depression, the government had to is sue paper “Clearing House Certificates” as a substitute for money. Conditions were just as bad, only we have forgotten. Prosperity has always followed bad times—this is one of the laws of business cycles. Now is the time to substitute the word “Reconstruction” for “depression.” Don’t be discouraged. Lend a hand to reestablish confidence. America will see this through and emerge victorious.
