Go Back To Work _ j ma ke up the increase, but the back i pay will be limited to 90 days worth.! The settlement was approved Sun-j day at a meeting of the members of the two unions, held at Rosedale 1 Beach, near Millsboro. The terms had been arrived at last Saturday'are at a negotiating session held at the ! office of the Eagle Poultry Co., in j Frankford, (continued from first pace) The workers raised two points, i which apparently remain to be set tied. They want the wage increase to include piece workers, and they want jobs for eight drivers, who never got back their jobs after the Teamsters' strike a few months ago. Works paid piece work rates at the poultry'plants are the "deckers" who handle live birds, transferring them from the coops in which they arrive to larger coops arranged in decks at the plants. They get paid by the coop. Two officials of the Butchers Council, from New York and Phila delphia. were due to discuss these points Sunday with Harry Landes, spokesman for the poultry packers. It was not clear Sunday night whether they had reached an agree ment, but the workers were due to return to their jobs Monday wheth-1 er or not those points were settled. The new agreement covers eight! plants of these poultry firms: Dia-1 mond State. Millsboro. Eagle. Sus sex. H and H. Acme. Snow Hill and Caroline. All but those of the last two were on strike, and the two were due to be struck Monday. A separate agreement had pre viously been reached covering five other plants on the peninsula.
