Mr. and Mrs. Ed Higgins of Wil mington, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Smith. Sr., returned home after spending sev eral weeks' vacation in Florida. Mbnday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ryan were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Barlow of Har rlngton./ Mi - , and Mrs. Doyle McSpadden, who have been vacationing in Flo rida for the past two weeks, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Newton enroute to their home in Wilmington. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Newton are vacationing in Florida. Mr. John C. Mrs. Tom Vandenburg of Haiti more, spent several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Col lison last week-end. Other week end guests of the Collison's were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Conoway of Wil mington. Mrs. Joe Willey was hostess to the members of her bridge club on Monday evening. On Sunday, February 8th, the Nu Stop Inn served a benefit dinner for the March of Dimes at the Le 'gion Home, from 1 to 6 p. m. Pro ceeds were $231. Mrs. Mary Orkin extends her thanks to her many friends who made a very' worthy » 'cause a success. Donors included Mr Jack Burris of Burris Frozen FFoôds in Milford, Mr. Henry non, Mr. Edwin James, Mrs. Elsie Dairs, Mr. Prank Adams and Mr. ' .Earl White. Lare, at Smithville. Mr. Louder Godwin has returned home from Milford Memorial Hos pital where he has been for three weeks for an operation. His friends wish him a speedy recovery. Y. at 5 o'clock, Sunday evening, February 15th, in the American Legion Home, Their devotional services will be held at 7 o'clock in St. Mark's Church. The Rev. Mr. Kusik of St. Mary's, Bridgeville, will be the speaker. He will relate some of his experiences behind the Iron Curtain.
