Clara Heed and Bessie Bland were placed on trial before Judgo Miller yesterday, charged with running an unlicensed enter tainment and selling liquor. Alexander Welford, colored, testified that he had boon given a dollar to go to tho social and buy liquor by Policeman Ossio Elinger. Wuiford then declared that ho had bought 00 cents worth of wine and Leer. William C. Bailey, colored, also testilled that ho had paid for liquor.
