With the approach of the spring
an1 summer season the time whe
owners of motor vessels are planning
pastimes in the bay it is important
that those who are concerned kmw
the requirements of the law as tile
governments regulations applying o
the navigation and equipment of mo
tor vessels will be strictly enforced
bv the government officials in this
state as well as elsewhere through
out the country
The laws in effect require as fol
lows

Monday accompanied by Mrs
Humphries en route to St Augustine
to attend tae annual session of the
state press association I
From St Augustine Mr and Mrs
Humphries will go to Tallahassee i
Friday to remain through the session
of the legislature Mr Humphries is
corfident that he will be elected presi
dent of the next senate
Discussing legislation likely to

Humphries said the Prohibition
amendment is sure to come up agan

ed He has not prepared a bill him
self but said if no other senator in
troduced a bill he would do so
