of M. O. Baggett duly seconded by Geo.
II. Davis, it was unanimously resolved;
That the Board of County-Commissioners
of Escambia County. Florida, deem It
expedient and for the best interests of
such county to issue the county bonds of
said county for the purpose of funding the
outstanding indebtedness of Escambia
County, Florida, amounting to one hund
red and eighty thousand (1180.000) dol
lars. Incurred In the erection of a build
ing to ba used as county Jail, and In con
Junction with such Jail building a court
room and the necessary witness. Jury and
office rooms for holding the terms of the
Court of Record, of said county, and for
other county purposes, including furnish
ing said building, upon the lots now owned
by the said county In block five (5) in
the Old City of Penaacola, Escambia
County, Florida. And be it

it is deemed expedient to issue one hund

denomination of five hundred dollars each.
