terday afteronon, which Is considered
earlier than the selling of the stock

the association, however, is that this
year people are making inquiries about
the stock and appear to be eager to
purchase It, as they believe that the
exposition this year will be a very suc

Tallahasse, May 10. Baron H. DeW.
Hooft, of Rotterdam, Holland, was a
visitor to the governor in the execu
tive offices this morning. The baron
speaks English fluently and spent a
very pleasant half hour with the gov
ernor. He Is here in the interest of a
colonization project the details of
which he has about completed. He
intends at present to bring over a col
ony of his countrymen and settle them
in Leon county. While in Florida
Baron Hooft is accompanied by J. D.
Rooney. of the Seaboard railway.
