Miss Bonnie Burnham, who has been 111 for several weeks in Mobile, is now slowly "ecovering her strength. Miss Burnham's many Pensacola friends will sincerely hope that her recovery may be rapid, and that she may soon return, entirely restored to health. MISS VERA GREEN ILL IN MOBILE. Miss Vera Green, accompanied by her mother, was taken to Mobile on Saturday, where she will be operated upon for appendicitis. BLACK HAND SOCIETY CALLS ON MR. AND MRS. KELLAR. The Ladies' Aid of the East Hill Baptist church will assemble again on Monday, to do work that is now en gaging their earnest attention, and ex pect to spend the day, gathering at the home of Mrs. J. Lacs and her mother, Mrs. R. O. Allen, are in Mobile, where they were called by the illness of Mrs. Al len's brother, Mr. John Carry, of Scranton, Miss., who was buried in j Mobile, his old home. I ! Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Kingsberry, who have been the guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Mayes, will leave early this week for Texas, where- they will visit in Paso, Toy ah, and other points. Mrs. George Browning is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bagley, before joining her husband, who is nor; in Jacksonville. The friends of Mr. and Mrs. Browning re gret very much that they are to make their future home in that city, and give them up with reluctance. Mrs. Browning will remain with her parents . for several weeks, "before joining her husband. I Mrs. C J. Floyd of Apalacliicola, and baby boy. Clarence Criggs, are expected Mcrday from Apalachicoia. where they have been since Christmas, the guests of relatives. Mrs. M. Bock, who recently under went an operation for appendicitis, is rapidly improving. Mr. and Mrs. John G. Swartwont and little daughter of Rockford, 111., are in the city for a few days, being located at 23 West Gregory street. Mr. Swartwont is a locomotive engineer and is now taking a well-earned vaca tion. Mr. B. II. Thomas returned last night from a business trip to several Southern cities, including Montgomery, and Mobile. Mr. J. H.
