Rumors that an authority reported an average improvement in the condition of the crop of 1 per cent for the first half of the period were also a factor ami opening at a decline of 59 points on August and 12 to 2'i points on later months, the market sold off to 25.74 for October and 25.47 for January. This made a decline of about "0 to 50, points and slight rallies followed oh the western belt forecast for fair and warmer in Oklahoma and partly cloudy weather in Texas.
