Dan Kelly of Hattiesburgr, Miss., the famous evangelist, is still progressing. His sermons have been good from the start up to the pres ent. Quite a good many have mU ready been received; some tin fle Baptist, but the larger per cent to the Methodist. Large crowds have: been In at tendance, despite the very cold and disagreeable weather. The meeting will close Sunday. We have all reason to believe the town has been gretly benefited- The Baptist people have cooperated with the evangelist with the hope of see ing the churches revived, and are re joicing over results. Prof. Swagerty has. conducted the staging, conse quently the music has been fine. Mr. Swagerty has taken great, interest in the little folks and fthey have improved in their efforts, until thai parents are rejoicing over results. Rev. Mr. Brown, pastor of the Methodist church has been confined to his bed for several weeks and not able to enjoy the meeting, but we are glad to know he? is much improved at this writing.
