terms demanded by the entente. The
setback, however, was succeeded by a
quick rally. Opening prices which
ranged from 1-8 to 2 1 -8c lower, with
October 1.39 to 1.39 5-8 and November
1.37 to 1.38 1-2. were followed by an
upturn to Saturday's finish, or above.
Corn closed excited,, 3 1-2 , to 5 5-Sc
net lower with October 01.35 3-4 to
$1.36 and November 1.33 1-2 To 1.33 3-4.
zOats fluctuated with corn. Price
changes though, were relatively slight.
After opennig 1-8 to 3-4c lower, with
October 71 3-4 . to 72 l-4c the market
scored a little advance.
Firmness In the hog market gave

Pensacola is near enough to the wr

One of these is the elevator girl, who

cola office building when Miss Mar

ago, and it is possible that young
women vil sooner or later replace ele
vator boys in other office buildings.-
The Postal Telegraph Company has
been using 'girls for telegram delivery
service for some time and the manager
reports that he is well satisfied with
