Moreno Jones returns home today from Asheville, N. C where he has been spending the past two weeks with Mr. Jones, who is spending several months in Asheville. MR. PERRY ENTERTAIN HALLOWE'EN NIGHT Charming originality characterized the unusually enjoyable affair with Which Chief Petty Offloen and Mrs Elmer S. Perry, 525 West Lee st?eet, who arrived in the city a short time ago from New York City, entertained some friends with on "Hallowe'en night in-an atfosphere suggestive of sur prise and mysteriousness created by Hallowe'en decorations of black cats, witches, pumpkins with candles, etc. Fall flowers, palms and ferns used in profusion gave a delightful woodland effect. Various games, dancing and music were enjoyed, and delicious refresh ments of cake and stterbert carried out in the llaliowe'en colors were served, the table being prettily ar ranged with a large pumpkin and lighted candles as a centerpiece and little black witches as place cards. Vocal and instrumental selections by Miss Mary Boylan and Mrs. Jessie Fwofford were much enjoyed during the evening. Theguests enjoying this eharminsr courtesy were Mr. and Mrs. Lester! Duniftp, Mrs. Dunlap, Sr., Miss Mary Boylan, Chief Petty Officer and Mrs. Jessie Fwofford, Mr. and Mrs. L. I Bishop and the host and hostess. CONFESSION LEADS TO YOUTH'S TRIAL Clifton Hobby, aged 19 years, of Mo lino, confessed to officers at the county jail yesterday that he and Burl Norwood shared In the money taken from J. Cofield of Molino who was robbed while en route to Pensacola several days ago. Norwood was ar rested on the charge when the theft was reported and was held until his confession that Hobby shared in the deal.
