GROVE'S TASTELESS Chill TONIC is not a patent - medicine. It is simply IRON d QUININE sus pended in Syrup. So pleasant even children like it. The Quinine and Iron does not dissolve in the syrup and, therefore, does not make the syrup bitter. You do not taste the bitter Quinine and you do not taste the Iron because both are completely covered with syrup when swallowed. Your system needs Quinine to Purify the Blood and Iron to Enrich it. These good old reliable tonic properties never fail to drive out impurities in the blood, and when you have rich, pure blood coursing through your veins, you feel like running, jumping and shouting. David Wark - Griffith Is recognized wherever motion pictures5 are. shown as one of the foremost ' producers of . great cinema spectacles. In his field, he is a power second to none, and all of his pro ductions bear the ineradicable stamp of superiority. There Is a massiver.ess about his pictures, a certain grandeur of treat ment, and a general . effect of complete ness which place them in a class by themselves. Mr. 'Griffith won his spurs with his famous production, "The Blrtn of a Nation," and this-was followed in quick succession by other now equa'ly celebrated masterpieces. These include The Great Love," "The Greatest Thing In Life." "The Romance of Happy Val ley" and now comes, his latest photoplay. "The Girl Who Stayed at Home," which comes to the Isis tomorrow. The theme of Mr. Griffith's newest picture is an attractive one. and handled as it is with exceptional skill and rare judgment, it is more than likely to duplicate, if it does not exceed, the success of its brilliant predecessors. S. E. V. Taylor, Author The story of "The Girl Who Stayed at Home" was written by S. E. V. Taylor a writer of distinction. Mr. Taylor nis taken for his theme the girl who stayed at home during the war and who did her bit by writing letters to stimulate the morale of the American soldiers at the fighting front in France. The ' subject has been Judiciously handled and the Je suit a highly satisfying p.iotoplay. A Remarkable Story. Her consuming desire Is to be worthy of the man she loves, and hence, the breath of scandal never reaches her. The United States enters the war and de spite his father's protests. Ralph enlists and goes to France. On the other hsnd. Jim is declared to be essential to his father's business, but later, his district board, places him in class one, and he is ordered to report for duty. The elder Grey appears before ' the board in his son's behalf, but his pleas are ignored and no mor consideration Is paid to Jim than if he were a bricklayer and not the son of a millionaire He soon follows hia brother to France and both are attached to the famous lost battalion. Meanwhile, Count de Brissac Is mortally wounded in battle and dies In Mile. Blossom's arms. She is captured by the Huns. When the battalion is surrounded by the Germans Jim braves incessant shell fire to earr? a message to the allied commanders, th' result being that food and ammunitio are dropped Into shell holes by airplane The defeat of the Hun hordes at h second battle of the Marne follows an-. Blossom Is rescued. Cutie Beautiful s praying in adversity that she may remain straight and never lose Jim's love, nrt while knitting socks for soldiers to th tune of a phonographic, record, she flmls time to write him inspiring letters. Jim is wounded and sent home on a furlougn. He meets Cutie and they renew their vows of love. Ralph and Blossom meet on the fighting front and plight their troth. The elder Grey Is no longer a pacifist snd he is proud of the achievements or his two sons. So the romance ends hap rily for all concerned. About Rheumatism.
