Bere's to the white carnation ' And to mother -our best of all. Margaret E. Sangster. OAK GROVE NO. 4, W .O. W. CIRCLE TO UNVEIL MONUMENTS DECEASED MEMBERS TODAY. Oak Grove No. 4, "W.O. W. Circle, will unveil with appropriate ceremon ies the monuments of several of the beloved members of the circle, lately deceased, today. Members of the circle are requested to be at the "W. O. "W. hall, on West Garden street, at 3 o'clock this after noon. A special car will be in wait ing at the corner of Palafox and Gar den streets to convey them to the cemetery. At St. John's cemetery will be un veiled the monument of Sovereign Leoma Boghich, who during her life,, filled nearly every chair in the Oak Grove Circle; Sovereign Martha San ders, also a faithful worker in the icircle and who, during her lifetime, held several different offices in the Circle; also Sovereign Mary Miribella, all three charter members. At St. Michael's cemetery the mon ument of Sovereign Annie Matthews, a long time and faithful member of the circle will be unveiled. All mem bers are requested to be at the hall promptly on time and to wear cos tumes of white. .... NEW ORLEANS JAZZ BALL BIG AFFAIR AT SAN CARLOS AUDITORIUM TUESDAY NIGHT. m Pensacolians who delight in tripping the light fantastic to the jazziest of real jazz music are anticipating with genuine pleasure the New Orleans jazz ball to be given in the San Carlos auditorium on the evening of - Tues day. May 13th, beginning at 8 o'clock. A program of the latest and best jazz music will be rendered by the well known Robichaux orchestra, of New Orleans. ' :; - . Everyone will be cordially welcomed, but as there are only a limited number of tickets, all those desiring to attend are urged to obtain their ticket at the earliest possible date. Tickets may be obtained at the San Carlos hotel or by communicating with Miss Janie Knowles. Each ticket admits one gen tleman, and a lady, no charge being made for the ladies. Proceeds wlllxbe used for .the benefit of local charities. .
