ijlURRAY HILl JACKSOIWILL ES ON MAR .it OF POPULAR SUBURBAN PROPERTY IS BEING BOOSTED BY JACKSONVILLE REALTY CO. The Jacksonville Realty and Mort gage company, the largest real estato sub-division corporation In the state ; Florida, with executive offices at Jacksonville, at its last annual meet ing thought that this was a fitting nlaea some of its suburban imic property on the market for quick dis position. - This decision has excited the great est amount of interest among- the real estate men of Jacksonville, because it means the liquidation of the finest and most beautiful allotment properties In jnd about the suburbs of Jackson ville. Among the valuable holdings of this company is the Murray Hill sub-di vision, known as "tne sudutd Deauu fuL" This sub-division is situated just southwest of the cty in the famed Riverside section; the company has ex pended large sums of money in mak ing Murray Hill the most desirable, attractive and up-to-date . residential section in the vicinity Of JackSonviUj miles of paved streets, water, elec tricity for lighting and cooking, Flor ida Military Academy, school, churcnes and beautiful homes, and the Mur ray Hill cars which run on a f uteen minute schedule to the "heart of the city are among the attractions of this locality. -v The executive committee of the cor poration is composed of Captain -W. M. Tupper, Col. William E. Kay, Lorenzo A. Wilson, "W. W. Frazier and II. B. Minium, and they have deci"d that the best method of disposing of this property in the present market is to sell it at auction. ; Several methods of quickly selling these propertie are being considered: interested parties ; have argued that inasmuch as the real estate market in Jacksonville never exhibited bright er prospects than it does at this time, that to sell these properties at a public auction sale would mean a great sac rifice and slaughter of prices "and de prive the stockholders of the company of the increase in values certain to follow the unusual and increasing de mand for homes; others are insisting. however, that a public auction sale is the most likely method to pursue in order to secure quick results. "' The committee has cut loose from all considerations of profit and have appointed Joseph P. .Day auctioneer. whose methods and organization will insure a successful sale, and place the property before the public without de lay. . The people, of Jacksonville, and in fact, all over the state, will have an opportunity to purchase the most at tractive home sites in and around Jacksonville at unprecedented price at a time when the values of land are increasing and will continue to in crease, and the sale without question will be the largest auction sale In the history of the state. . The sale will be held at the Duval theater, Jacksonville, on May 29, and each succeeding day until every loL is sold. "The Test .of Honor" Is Barrymore's New Dramatic Picture. The new Paramount picture, "The Test of .Honor," affords John Barry- more many dramatic scenes and inci dents which migh,t have been written especially for him so well do they suit his individua ltype of actng and char acterization. The picture will be dis played at the Isis theater today. .In one scene it was necessary to show an apparition in the jail where Barrymore is serving time for an al leged murder which he did not com mit. A large, muscular actor was en gaged, for . the part, and John BarryT more himself attended to the make up on his future apparition. "I know the sort of a face that would give me the creeps in the dark, and I.will put that face on him," he said. A few hours later the actor was brought down before the director for inspection, and one and all-agreed that the face which peered out- before a dim light while the camera registered its hideous grimaces, was absolutely the most frightful apparition that could possibly be imagined, and that nothing less than lobster and mince pie could produce a face like that, -"The Test Of Honor," is an admirable picturization of E. Phillips ' Opnen heim's celebrated novel, ''The Male factor,", and for the first time since he became a motion picture star, Mr, Barrymore has a strong dramatic role.
