Une meeting, which was attended by about 16 ministers, including Rev. A. C. Odom, of Pensacola; Rev. W. J. Pet ers, of Jay, and Rev. Brock, of Gon zalez, had been in session since Mon day. They were guests while in De- Funlak, of the Baptist church there of which Rev. R. J. OUryant, former ly of Pensacola, is pastor, and they report a most delightful stay there as well as a most instructive mtw .-ing. It is expected that the nesrt annwl meeting will be held at Chljley and that It will be attended by practically every minister in the district. At these institntes a regular lecture study course Is carried out with the idea of broadening out ministerial work and scriptural theology. These institutes are a new departure of Baptist min isterial work in this ' state and kear promise of being greatly helpf in many ways.
