Keeping pace with the progressiveness and growth of Pensacola,
and continually striving for Betterment, we yesterday formally
opened our doors to the public to one of the most modern equipped bakeries in the South. This
new plant, with all its improvements, being necessitated by our fast growing business, the demand for
our products being far in excess of our production, but with the increased floor space, new labor
saving machinery and the many improvements that we have installed, we will be better prepared than
ever to take care of all increased trade assuring that all of our

ern facilities to cover the various branches of bur business. Our
bakers are experts, in this you'll agree, as the proof has been ful

ment throughout this plant. Every department has its own im
proved facilities and methods of producing only the best possible.
Our aim has always been to improve and to this end there is noth

It is easy for the visitor at Hughey's Plainview Bakery to sec just how our products are made. The
good things we want you to eat are baked, to see just how they arc handled through every operat
ion, from the time the flour is dumped from the sack into the sifter until it comes forth a beautiful baked, golden crusted loaf.
