Hun dreds of the world's greatest business surgeons," men high in affairs in the United States, Great Britain, France, Italy and Belgium, met here today at the opening session of a three days' "clinic" to diagnose international trade ill and prescribe for the cure. The first day was spent largely in the or ganizatlon of committees and other preliminary work. The International Trade Conference, as it is called. Is being held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. Among the notables who are invited to epeak are King Albert, of Belgium. Herbert Hoover, A. C. Ten committees, named by an execu tive" committee of which Mr. Bedford is chairman, are to submit surveys and reports on American trade and finan cial conditions for the information and guidance of the thirty-six foreign delegates. The topics are as follows: Credit and finance; chemicals; food stuffs, coal, oil, metals, shipping, tex tiles and permanent organization." Of all these committees" none, perhaps,., is more important than the "one. on credit and finance, headed by James S. Alex ander, presldeit of the National Bank of Commerce, of New York. . - Discussing the objects of the credit and finance committee, Mr. Alexander said: "It is to study the question of re?establlshlng normal trade relations between the United States, and the nations of urope. to provide an oppor tunity for a frank discussion of facts and an exchange of views with our visitors from England. France, Italy, and Belgium. Neither the foreign del egation nor the American committee is in any sense official. "It is hoped that a discussion around the table of the facts and the prin ciples involved may serve, to expedite the re-establishment of sound credit conditions, based upon a renwal of. understanding and confidence, end steadily increasing production. The worm-drive of manganese bronze carries all the power of the motor to driving the Truck, and there are com bined in larger and heavier form all the elements which have made the Ford Model T Car the greatest motor car in the world in point of service. The Ford Truck with its worm-drive is most economical in operation and maintenance. There is very little, if anything, to get out of order at any time; there is the sim plicity in control; there is the convenience in the flexibility of the car, it will turn in a circle of forty-eight feet; it accommodates itself to narrow alleys, and it "stands the gaff" of hard work day after day, and month after month, to the great satisfaction of the owner. There is hardly a line of business activity where the Ford One Ton Truck is not really a necessity. Come in and talk it over. WEST C4AHDEN STI2EET V! ONE 1914 . ."i: S W -r V.; oaneim i i Jinan d. This is a saving of fifteen (15) cents per one hundred (100) cubic centimeters over the low est price made in the first bids re ceived, which were rejected as un satisfactory. The law provides that any hog own er can secure an amount up to 1,500 cubic centimeters, which is sufficient to inoculate thirty , well hogs of one hundred pound weight at one-half cost, the other half being paid for by the state. All applications for serum and virus for which" the state 'pays one-half must be made upon regular forms of application ; which may be had from any federal or state vet erinarian or other person authorized to administer the same and must be approved by such authorized person, and in all cases, must be accompanied by post office or express money order or cashier's check . in an amount suf ficlent to pay for same. It has been arranged to have a sup ply of serum and virus on hand by the first of November and all orders can be filled after that time. : OUTBURSTS' of EVERETT TRUE VU by CON DO tvCC.THN, IWO DoOOT You KMOUJ THC ONfS '4eoJT.
