At the Florida industrial fair, which opens at Mari anna next Tuesday, October 28, and will continue through November 1, the Florida Industrial School will oc cupy a large and conspicuous space. The exhibit will include a complete industrial feature embracing cabinet and wood work, painting, broom work. brick made at the school, cement work, blacksmith work, shoe repairing, also agricultural and other industrial ex hibits. These will demonstrate the important work of the institution. For October 29an invitation has been extended to every candidate for United States senator and representa tive in congress from this district, to gether with, all s)tate officers of Florida, to be present and speak. Knight, vice-chancellor of the University of the South at Sewanee, Tenn., and chairman of the executive committee of the million dollar endow ment fund, is Just back from the tri ennial general convention of the Epis copal church in Letrolt, Sewanee was prominently represen ted at .the convention by alumni bishops, rectors and laymen, and on Saturday night, October 18th, Sewanee Night was observed by a banquet at tended by some of the most phomment churchmen from the south. . Among the speakers were Blhhop Gailor of Tennessee, presiding bishop of the House of Bishops of the general con vention, and Bishop William Mercer Green, of Mississippi. Immediately upon the conclusion of the convention in Detroit the Sewanee campaign in the south will be given a great stimulus by the return of their y : IN POLICE CIRCLES ; Judge Morey yesterday fined Bill Manning and B.
