from stomach troubles for a pumber

least I did not know what a sound
sleep was for many months. My at

a bottle and began to use it. I may
say conscientiously that after the first
dose I began to feel relief and the
same evening slept sounder than I
had in many months past. You may
publish this fact, as I want other peo

contained in your Ironized Paw-Paw,
I consider it does fully more than you

We want the man or woman who

"Smashing Barriera"-
William Duncan, who to screen fol
lowers, is known as the king -of ser
ial productions, will be back on the
screen of the Liberty Theatre today.
In a brand new melodramatic chap
ter play, entitled, 'Smashing Barriers.'
This, according' to the producers, Vit
agraph, is one of the best, if not the
best serial that Duncan has ever ap
peared in. The last appearance of
this husky screen star here was in
"The Man of Might."
"Smashing Barriers" has been
written with an effort behind it to
make it interesting for man, woman
or child. It opens up with the action
staged at a big Western college, where
Duncan as the hero, wins a great
football game for his Varsity team.
After a chapter or two, the action
jumps to the big open spaces of the
west mountains, lumber camps, etc.,
where our hero has gone to make his
way to furtune for himself.
This new serial is again the product
of the pens of Cyrus Townsend Brady
one of the foremost writers in th's
country, and Albert E. Smith, presi
dent of Vitagraph. It is overflowing
with new thrills and daredevil deeds.
It is everybody's serial, according to
the producers, because it aontains
every element of good, clean advent
ure. It might be the page from any
strong, hustling young man's life. In
tertwined in the story of Duncan's
making good, is a charming romance.
Character Carries Girl on Mission of
Revenge.
Strength of character, so many stu
dents of human nature maintain, may
be revealed by some terrible occur
rence which brings to the surface the
best or worst in man. However,
strength of character may be for good
as well as evil. One may decide to
have revenge and keep this idea in
mind .for years. That is one form
that strength shows up (n character.
In the new World picture, "The
Woman of Liies," Olive Sherman, - the
heroine who has been made'an out
cast because of lies circulated about
her, . carries for several years the one
idea of squaring accounts with Nor
ton, the man who spoiled her early
life! ;
After some years she succeeds In
getting him in her power,'. and. cleverly
leading him on, absolutely ruins him.
Olive is not a criminal type. She is
Just an example of a girl whose in
tense hatred for one"man makes her
live with the idea of revenge. It "be
comes an obsession with her, Eventu
ally she finds happiness with the man
she loves.
June Elvidge , who plays the role of
Olive Sherman, does one of the best
pieces! of work in her career In this
picture. She plays a difficult part and
succeeds in retaining the audience's
sympathy all through the picture. .
