The Leon county fair today began
its annual meeting. In spite of in
clement weather the attendance on
tho opening day was larger than in
previous years. The exhibits, too, this
year, excel those, which have been
shown on previous occasions, and the
interest of the citizens of Leon county
has grown tremendously.
In the large, or majn. show building,
the various exhibits of agricultural,
horticultural, culinary and needle
work make a most attaractive show
ing1, while in the live stock pens are
assembled cattle which demonstrate
the superiority of this county In the
production of fine stock.
The big days at the fair will be
