An Ordinance to provide for Public Lighting in Certain Portions of the City of Pensacola by Electricity, Under Contract with the Escambia County Electric Light and Power Company for the term of three years. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PENSACOLA r- Section 1. That the City Commission ers and City Clerk of the City of Pen sacola shall execute in the name or, anu on behalf of the City of Pensacola, a contract with the Escambia County Elec tric Light and Power Company, for pub lic lighting in certain portions of the City for the term of three years from the first day of October 1919. Said con tract shall be in the form, and contain all the terms, conditions and stipulations contained and mentioned in the con tract entered into by and between- ssaid City and said Company on the 23rd day of September, 1916. Section 2. The contract hereinbefore provided for shall be made subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City applicable thereto and the said Elec tric Light and Power Company by en tering into said contract with the City shall thereby exempt and hold harmless the members of said Board, collectively and individually, from, and of any and all liability whatsoever, that may arise or be occasioned by, reason of this ordi nance, or said contract being ultra vires, or otherwise illegal.
