AUTO TRUCK AND WAGON COLLIDE Itiehard S: Amos, who was seriously injured in an auto wreck near Chipley Tuesday, was reported resting easy and his condiHon is not as alarming as was at first thought, it was said at the. Pensacola hospital last night. Mr. Amos was crushed under the fall of the car and his left side temporarily paralyzed It was first thought that he had suffered' serious internal inju ries. Major Bowen, of Chipley, who was in thee ar with Amos, was crushed be neath the ear and died before his body could be released. The two; men were driving through the country from Chipley in a Ford belonging to Amos when the accident happened. An auto truck belonging to D'Atem berte and a wagon driven by John Baxtran of Brownsville, collided yes terday on W. Belmons-st., one front wheel of the wagon being demolished. The accident was settled satisfactor ily and no arrests were made.
