tertainment committee has called the
Braves to meet at the San Carlos at
1 o'clock today and announces an in
teresting program. His letter is Its

date regarding: the entertainment fea
ture of the Kiwanis Club luncheon to
be held at the San Carlos hotel, Thurs
days Alarch the lljh, 1920, at 1 p. m.,

formation .which I feel certain, will in
sure your prompt attendance.
At 1:00 you will be served with a
luncheon that will make you forget the

tictics show that pecaps- are selling
much lower in price then the other
kinds of nuts named. There are com
plete drying, grading and storing ware
houses for pecans in the south. Plants
should also be established for cracking
nuts. They would give employment to
many workmen and facilitate shipment
of our products. Such a plant could
sell its product throughout the United
States.
AUTO TRUCK AND
WAGON COLLIDE
Itiehard S: Amos, who was seriously
injured in an auto wreck near Chipley
Tuesday, was reported resting easy
and his condiHon is not as alarming
as was at first thought, it was said at
the. Pensacola hospital last night. Mr.
Amos was crushed under the fall of
the car and his left side temporarily
paralyzed It was first thought that
he had suffered' serious internal inju
ries. Major Bowen, of Chipley, who was
in thee ar with Amos, was crushed be
neath the ear and died before his body
could be released. The two; men were
driving through the country from
Chipley in a Ford belonging to Amos
when the accident happened.
An auto truck belonging to D'Atem
berte and a wagon driven by John
Baxtran of Brownsville, collided yes
terday on W. Belmons-st., one front
wheel of the wagon being demolished.
The accident was settled satisfactor
ily and no arrests were made.
"For the first time In fifteen years
I can sit down and eat a big beefsteak
supper and go to bed afterwards and
sleep like a log all night long," said
George Sanderson, a well-known miner
living at 1616 Smith St., Peroria, 111.

were so drawn I couldn't use my pick
