T had suffered agony with my bade until my late treatment that Dr. W.
C. Uclz gave me. I found him gentle in his treatment and very reasonable
in price. After giving treatment ho advised me to have arches for my shos
and my heels built up, so that walking wouldn't jar my back so.
This being my first trip to Pensacola. I knew very little about the
town, but luckily some good man, after hearing my trouble, recommended
the Hoyal Shoe Shop. I had never better service and I had practically a
r.ow pair of shoes at very little expense.
On finding out that a hard mattress had a great deal to do with my
ailments, I began to investigate and found that tho Germ Proof Mattress
Co. was the ideal place, for having my old mattress made over. That night
I slept on my new mattress and I know that I had never slept better and
had pleasant dreams of the great success I had met.
It was not more than a week later when our luck changed and our
house was sold out from under us. A fter looking over town a few days, and
finding nothing to suit us, we decided to build. Knowing that the Pensaeoki
Manufacturing Co. was the most up-to-date lumber yard, we purchased
our lumber from them. We patronized them because they were so accom
modating and very generous in prices. When we had heavy hauling we al
ways patronized Borras Transfer Co., because they were suited for the work
and were ve,ry lenient in their charges.
While they were hauling for us, a tire on one of the large trucks blew
out. W'e advised ITopf Vulcanizing Co., because their work was very sat
isfactory and thy were so prompt.
But our home was not fully equipped yet. We needed a bedroom set,
library table and bookcase. This we purchased from Higgins Loan and Fur
niture Co. We patronize them because they carry the best life of every
thing and were so lenient in their terms.
Baisden and Ware Electric Co., wired our house for electricity. They
