A Ntw Society Organized—
The young people of the Fifth Ave
nue Baptist Church met laBt week and
organized a Young People's Union
with the following officers: Miss Hat
tie Sherman, leader; Miss Clara Ca
perton, treasurer, and Miss Verna
Oden, secretary. This popular organ
ization held their first meeting Sun
day evening at 7 o'clock. Miss Sher
man presided over the meeting, and
a very Interesting program was ren
dered. They will hold their meetings
every Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at
the church. On next Sunday Miss
Freeda Etheridge will be leader of the
meeting. All the young people are
cordially invited to come and Join.

and Ship Island Hospital, returned
yesterday from McHenry, where she
had a professional call.

pleasant visit to Lauderdale and Me
