Commonly known as flux or colitis, dysentery is a leading cause of death among babies too young to withstand its severity. Last year 274 babies under two died from this cause. To prevent dysentery, you must protect your baby from the germ that causes it. This gern comes from the body wastes of a case or carrier of this disease. Care and cleanliness in handling baby’s food and water are necessary, protection from flies important. If your baby is not breast fed, be sure you use safe milk.' Keep baby away from people sick with dysentery. Boil his water and protect from flies.
