The song birds and the dance troupe from Cameron Street High school presented a program at Cam den High school Monday night, April 12th. It was terrific. Mr. Willie Cotton of Chicago, 111., was rushed to be here to see the last of the grandmother who raised him. Mrs. Alice Moore is reported very ill this week and not much improv ed. Friends wish for a her a speedy recovery. Court No. 90 will conduct a Palm Sunday program at China Grove Sunday, April 11. Come and be present. A fine service was held at China Grove A. M. Johnson and sister of Jackson were Sunday guests in the home of their mother, Mrs. B. Hubbard. Mrs. Essie Sharks is visiting her daughter in Vicksburg. Little Bennie L. McGowen of Bol ton is visiting in the home of his granddaddy> Mr. Jessie McGowen. Bennie L. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack McGowen. The Quarterly conference will convene with the Ebenezer A. M. E. church with Dr. R. A. Scott presiding. Everybody is invited to attend. There will be an egg hunt given at the home of Miss Irene Mar tin Sunday evening, April 18, at four o'clock. Everybody is invited to come. Egg hunt free. Mr. Will Earl (Billy) Robinson has returned to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., after spending a few days with his parents. Mr. Willie Earl is now serving in the armed forces. The many friends in and around Raymond are happy to welcome Mr. Reginald Henderson here on a fur lough. Whoo-weeeaee, here it goes!
