was regular pastorial day at
Little Zion Methodist Church.
The pastor Rev. N. L. Bender
preached an inspiring sermon
to all who heard him.
The Pelahatchie Charge will
entertain the Jackson District
Conference October 5-7, 1960.
The session will be held at
Mt. Ridge Methodist Church.

“Jesus Christ Is Lord.” The
host pastor. Rev. N. L. Bender;
District Supt. — Rev. F. P.
Leonard; Resident Bishop —
Bishop Charles F. Golden.
Misses Mary and Clarissa
Ormand, Mrs. Lucile Bennett
and Mr. J. C. Macklin was
guest in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. W. E. McAllister of Me
Raven, Miss.

Mrs. Arcene Scott spent the
weekend in Jackson, Miss,
with her son and daughter-in
law. Mr. and Mrs. Edmond
, Hughes.
Mrs. Emma Jo Macklin and
Janet Elizabeth spent the
week end with her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis.

Rev. Cleveland Floyd and
| family have moved to Jackson.
Miss. They will be missed in
church. Sunday school and
Choir. Mrs. Floyd and chil
dren are members of Mt. Car
mel M. B. Church, we regret
to lose them.
Mrs. Sebell Morrow who met
with a serious accident last
week end is in the Baptist
Hospital resting nicely at this
writing.
Mrs. Annie King of the
Haynes Chapel community is
hurrying to the bedside of her
daugther, who had an accident
on her job. We pray for a
speedy recovery.
Friends of Mr. Clifton Irvin
are happy to know that he is
out of the V. A. Hospital on
furlough. We welcome him in
the community.
Misses Susie Mae and Wilma
Wynn of Baton Rouge, La. is
here at the bedside of their
mother, Mrs. Sudie Wynn, who
is very ill at her home. Pray
ers are asked for her and
others.
The brothers of Mr. John
Wynn and their wives of Can
ton, Miss, were at the bedside
of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Su
die Wynn who is very ill.
Mr. Green Knight who has
been ill is up and doing nicely.

Mrs. Euna Mae Spann, Mr.
L. R. Bailey, Clarence and
Fred Bailey visited Mrs. Bailey
at Canton, Miss. Bailey has
been ill for some time. We
pray for a speedy recovery.

Mrs. Edith Harvey of Whit
field, Miss, is spending several
days at home with her family. I
They welcome her.
