Madison County News Mrs. A. M. Bullie, Agent Sunday. November 13. the funeral of Mr. Wilson Clincy was held at China Grove A. M. E. Church, 2: P. M. Mr. Clincy died Friday, November 4, after a short illness, at the age of 71 years. He was a member of Mt. Ollie M. B. Church, having joined in his early age and his pleasant per sonality made for him many friends. The following service Was observed: Processional, Song, Scripture. Bro. Elvers Jones, Prayer, Bro. Charlie Harris, Short Talk; Sis. A. M. Bullie Solo, Sis. Alberta P. Palmer; Three Minutes Talk by friends: Mrs. Bettie For bes, Mrs. Idelia Rogers. Ac knowledgements and Obitu ary, Sis. Ethel I. Phillips; Eu logy, Rev. Rosenthal 1; viewing of remains, Funeral Directors in charge. A nice offering was given to his widow'. He leaves to mourn his passing, a loving wife, Mrs. Henretta Clincy. ! two daughters, two grandchil dren, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Moore, one brother. Mrs. S. C. Clincy, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: H. A. Pow'ell, Lee Daniel Forbes, Sr., Arthur Rouser, Samuel Rouser, Clif ton Cotton. Bernard Rhodes. Interment; China Grove ceme tery. Peoples Funeral home was in charge of arrange ments. Sick: Mr. Arthur Gray, Sr., Is very ill at this writing. Mrs. Rosie Anderson is greatly im proved from a stroke; Mrs. Henretta Parker was able to go to church on Sunday. Mr. L. C. Harris is doing fine from an operation performed recent ly. Your reporter is on the go again, after an absence from activities for quite a while, Mrs. Sarah Moore and two daughters, Addie and Moline from Minnesota were here to witness the funeral of Mrs. Moore’s brother, Mr. Clincy. Other out-of-the-state relatives attended the funeral. ALL MUSIC LOVERS are invited for a Thanksgiving Dance at Stevens Rose Room, November 24 . . .
