Notice is hereby given that
pursuant to an order of the
Mayor and Board of Aldermen
of the City of Lexington, Mis
sissippi, entered on May 1,
1962, said Board will at 7:30
o’clock, P. M. on Tuesday,
June 5th, 1962, receive, open
and consider sealed bids for
the purchase by the City of
Lexington, one 1962 Four
Door Automobile equipped
with V-8 engine of not less
than 150 horsepower, Auto
matic transmission, Heavy
duty battery of not less than
70 amp. hours, Alternator of
not less than 60 amps., Back
up lights, Heavy duty’ police
type upholstery, Rotating
automatic warning light
mounted on top, Heater and
Heavy duty radiator. All bids
must be filed with the Clerk
of the City of Lexington on
or before 7:30 o’clock P. M.
on June 5th, 1962. The Mayor
and Board of Aldermen re
serve the right to reject any
and all bids.
