Mrs. Hansen visited her niece

Mrs. Lucille Long spent se
veral days in the St. Domi
nic’s Hospital in Jackson
where she underwent surgery.
She is reported to be doing
fine.
Mrs. Carrie Parker shopped
in Kosciusko last Thursday.
Sympathy is extended to
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Holley
in the death of their brother,
Mr. A. P. Holley of Lexing
ton.
Mrs. Mollie Schrock and

Woman’s Reading Club Has
Meeting
The Woman’s Reading Club
met with Mrs. C. A. Hansen
with Mrs. A. A. Derrick as
co-hostess on May 10.
The president^ Mrs. R. E.
Brumby, presided over the
business session. The reports
from the different officers
were given.
After the business session,
new officers for the coming
year were installed by Mrs.
A. A. Derrick, Jr. from Dur
ant at which time the outgo
ing prefdent, Mrs. R. E.
Brumby, and Mrs. A. A. Der
rick were presented beautiful
gifts from the club.
The meeting was turned ov
er to the hostesses, who serv
ed a delicious salad plate.
