to me as Trustee, by Robert U. Bright,
and John T. Ballard, for the

therein specified, dated the 12th day of Oc
toher, 1839, and recorded in the Clerk's
olHce, of the Probate Court, of the County
of Noxubee, State of Mississippi, in Book
(C) pages 273, 74, and 75, I will sell to
the. highest bidder, before the court-house
door of said county, for cash, on Monday,
the 14th day of February next, the fol
lowing described tract or parcel of land,
or so much thereof, as shall be necessary
lor the purposes naniçd in said Deed of
Trust, viz :
The North East quarter and the East
half of the North West quarter of Section
number 3, in Township number 15, in
Range number 18, East, situated in Noxu
bee county.
Such title only will be given as is vest
ed in inc by virtue of said Deed of Trust.

TRUSTEE'S SALE.
BY virtue of a Certain Deed of Trust,
made and executed by David F. Wallon
to me, to secure the paytnen of certain
notes that the said David F. Walton owes
to Joseph Walker, I will ptoceed to sell
to the highest bidder, for cash, at the resi
dence of said David F. Walton, the fol
lowing described property, to wit: One
Negro Man, One Negro Woman and two
children, one Bay Mare, one Sorrel Horse,
and one Yoke of Oxen, Sixteen head of
Cattle, thirty head of Hogs, Household
and Kitchen Furniture.
Sale to take place on the 23d June, 1842,
I will make such titles to said property thut
is vested in me as Trustee.

rpllE Subscribers would respectfully in
form the Planters and Merchants in
the vicinity of the Noxubee River, that
they intend running three New and Sub
stantial BARGES from MACON to
the Mouth of the Noxubee, as soon as the
Water will permit. Arrangements have
also been made witn some of the best Stcam
Boats that will ply on the Bigby River
this Season, to take the Cotton out of the
Barges without the least delay, and convey
it to Mobile, and Bills of Lading from the
Plantation or Landing, where it is taken
on, through to the city, will in all cases be
signed by the Clerk of the Barge. For up
Frieght, Bills of Lading will also be sign
ed from Mobile to its destination.—Those
interested will perceive at once, that this
mode of shipping their Cotton down, and
their stores back, will not only save them
a o-rcat deal of trouble; but also the ware
house fees on the Bigbcc River, which they
have heretofore paid.
The Barges are all covered to protect the
freight from wet weather, and they will be
under the management of able and expe
rienced Boatmen. F'or further particulars,

sons interested in the Estate Frederick
Hudson, deceased, to be and personally ap

Estate of Thomas L. Johnson, dec'd., will

month, for the purpose of receiving and
mining claims against said Estate. Com
mission will expire the 1st Monday of Fe
