The citizens of Noxubee county will please take notice of the following Act, passed by the Legislaturein 1842. " See. 18. Be it further enacted , That so much of the act to which this is an amerdm ent as restr cts the tax collectors to the first day of February, as the time when they may désirait 1 and advertise real estate lor sale for taxes due thereon, be, and the same is hereby repealed, and hereafter it shall be lawful lor the tax col« lectors to distrain and advertise lor sale real es tate for the taxes due thereon on the fifteenth day of November in each and every year." TRUSTEE'S SALE. ~D Y Virtue of two Deeds of Trust exe cuted by Caleb Joiner to me as Trus* tee, to secure the payment of certain sums of money therein mentioned : One of said Deeds of Trust bearing date the 12th day of April, 1838, and the other bearing date the 21st day of November, 1840, I will offer for sale, for cash, to the highest bid der, at the residence of the said Caleb Join er, on the 24th day of October next, the following described property, to wit : The West half ot Section 33 in Township 16 Range 19 East, South East quarter of Section 33 Township 16 Range 19 East, West half of the South We>t quarter of Section 34, Township 16 Range 19 East, and 315 70-100 acres from the East side of Section 4 Township 15 Range 19 East: Also, the West half of Section 3 Town ship 15 Range 19 East. Also, the follow ing described Slaves, to wit: Freeman, Henry, Long, Taylor, Dick, Martin, Nel son, Allen, Welthy-Ann, Charlotte, Rody, Sidney, Amelia, Nancy and her three chil dren, Amanda, Campbell and Susan, Will, Aggy, Robbin, Ned, Sam, Nancy, Oliver and John; also, all of the increase of the said female Slaves since the conveyance in said Deeds of Trust. Walton owes to Joseph Walker, 1 will proceed to sell to the highest bidder, for cash, at the resi dence of said David F. Oct'r. 1st 1842. 10 Dollars Reward OTRAYED from the Subscriber about ^ the 15th of April, 1841 a small well formed BAY HORSE MULE, about six years old ; has been worked some, and has a wild appearance, he has a white spot in his mane occasioned by wearing a clog or tie rope. The said Mule formerly belonged to the Estate of Doct. Moore, and was last seen on Joe's creek below the Starksville road. Also—A Mule of necriy the same des cription, which was last seei, in the Prai rie between John McLeod'? md Cooksville.
