It has been several days since

Sdhool Opening
: The public school opened Mon
day morning under conditions
favorable for a most excellent
session. The building has been
remodeled from basement to attic
and made safe and beautiful.
A new and different heating
system has been installed, insur
ing comfort on cold days.
Quite a number of patrons and
some officials were out to meet
the excellent corps of teachers
selected and the happy children

made by school and city officers
as well as by some of the pat
rons. All seemed to be in high
spirits and expecting this to be
the best session in the history of
the school. Supt Cox is enter
ing his third year and had the
team work well organized all
long the line. Everyone seem
ed to know his place and to be
ready to fill that place. ;
