I shall put on a night watch man with the punch key system, four keys on either side of Main Street, rear of stores. . To the young men of the town: I have, been a boy myself and if you should get in trouble, I ' will be your friend and do all I can to help you. Thanking you in advance fox your support, I am, Your friend, Adv. T. M. DEAN ATTENTION VOTERS The Victory is Ours , The question is are we going to make it stick.' . Next Monday, May 15th, will tell the tale.. The first Primary is the beginning of the end. We have made a vigorous cam paign against Classfsm. Against running the government in the interest of a few. We believe in an administration that represents the whole people, "01 the people by the people and for the peo ple." . , We believe in a free country, where a man can cast his ballot according to the dictates of his own conscience, without pres sure from any source whatever, be it official or what not Fellow citizens, what kind of a Mayor do you want and are - you going to have? ' Remember, next Monday, in all probability, will decide this question. Do you want one who will look to the interest of the whole people? Do you want one who will see that everybody wil eet a sauare deal be he ever so humble? Do you want one who will use his best efforts to combine prog res3, economy and fair play into a well blended and well poised administration? Not forgetting that common sense a very un common and little used staple article -play3 a very important part even in a City Government. We have invited them to stand up and speak if they had any thing to say as to why sentence should not be passed upon them. We have invited them to come to the bat and play ball, and al though they have an astute law yer at their services, has any body seen a line in their de fense? Not one. Why? Be cause you can't controvert the truth. 1 . Anybody who has eyes can see to what "straits of despera tion they have come. They are using every means in their power to get a vote. Their army corps swoops down on the inoffensive voter in relays at all hours of the day, and I think they have a night shift also. Don't be deceived by the Sirens song. Keep your eyes open. BE prepared; come out Monday morning and cast your vote for the Champion of Free Government, equal rights to all and special priveliges to none. Very respectfully, adv. R. L. FITZGERALD ' 'Never promise more than you can perform." "Promise is most given when the least is said." George Chapman I will appreciate your vote, adv. R. J.
