The Junior Auxiliary of the Presbyterian Church met on Wednesday afternoon of last week ' with Miss Mattie Sue Johnson. There were 9 present. After an interesting study of foreign missionary work delight ful refreshments were served. The Auxiliary adjourned to meet aeain - the ' first Monday in December. Armistice . Day was fittingly celebrated here by all business houses closing and a parade of the sehool, led by the Okolona Booster Band. The sehool were In nniform and presented the different activities of the insti tution and the Red Cross- and Salvation Army as well.- This was the second public appear ance of the Band, which is under the direction of Prof. Felix Al cantara, band instructor. It had made good progress and demonstrated that careful in struction had been heeded by the members. In the afternoon good game of foot ball wa3 played between the local team and Columbus, the latter win ning. The game stood nothing to nothing until the last three minuter.
