CLEVER CHILD PLAYERS
IN ‘THE THIRD ALARM”
The success of Jackie Coogan and other famous children
of the screen has focussed keenest attention upon the young I
folk of the film. Children have established themselves among
the leading players of the industry. Their services are much
in demand.
These children are Josephine Adair
and Frankie Lee. The little girl is
blonde and about five years old but
screen experts credit her with the
artistry of a matured woman. Jose
phine, in the language of the photo
play “lot,” "can put across a scene
with the best of them.” She is a
well seasoned “trouper.” ,
Frankie's success encompasses not
only his roles in plays with many
of the greatest stars of the screen
but also his own starring productions
in two reels which are now in the
course of production. His role of a
crippled newsboy in “The Third
Alarm” calls for a dramatic equip
ment of no mean proportions and
Frankie interprets his part with rare

loved Arlington. The Lord has
many dear people and precious souls
here, whom we love tenderly, and
much dislike to leave, but the Father
has called and not being our own,
wife and I gathering up our little ones,
in our arms, as it were, we have gone
down into the garden and got down
on our knees beside the dear Lord
Jesus, and through our tears we have
looked up into our Father’s face,
“saying,” Father this is all we have,
our lives and three little ones, and
Thy will not ours be done.” So that
we are coming over, not to leave until
our work is over, over there.
Pray much for the church and the
brethern here, that God will sand
His man quickly to them here.
I will not cease to pray for you
while we are absent one from the
other, and while we work on for the
same Blessed Savior, “Who loved us
and gave Himself for us, that He
might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purge unto Himself a peculiar
people, sealous of good "work.”
In the bonds of Christian fellow*
ship, and in the gospel of the only
begotten Son of God, our Savior, the
