Karnes, of the firm ■ O- J Davis, has just returned from the eastern markets where she per chased ft full and complete stuck of millinery and ladie's ready-to-wear. Miss Mattie Cleveland left last Saturady on a visit of a few days to Carthage, Miss., her old home. Miss Hazel Howell, of the firm of 0. J. Davis, has lately returned from the Hast where she had superior training in millinery. Mr. and Mrs- Charles K. Dunn left Wednesday on a visit to their son Lieut. Commander, C. Dunn who is stationed in Chicago. Several members of the Meeker Memorial Prayer League, of the Bap tist Church, went to Taylor's la-' Sunday night, and organized a Prayer League there. Thirty five men of Taylors met the ones from here. Rev. Wayne Alliston is in Pela hatchie this week engaged in a pro tracted meeting. Rev.
