Members and officers present as on yesterday and proceeded to business as follows: We your committee appointed to Suspect contemplated road from Martin A Hedge to gate at McKay mill, have inspected same and find it practicable but not public necessity, J I> Barker, B H Fryery. To the Hon Board of supervis ors : We your commit tee appointed to inspect new bridges to be built by J B Kilpatrick and E M Mayo have inspected same and find bridge built by Kilpatrick built to order and recommend lie lie paid for same, 72 ft. SBB 48 and the bridge to be built by Mayo not complete and recom mend lie have 30 days longer to complete same. ,1 1) Barker, A W Williamson. It appearing to the Board that Martha Williams is indigent and unable to earn a support and no one whose duty it is to sup port her and she being unable to be removed to the poor house, therefore the Clerk is ordered to issue warrant to the amount of $5 00 to the said Martha Wil liams as temporary relief as a pa uper. It appearing ro the Board that Becca Clark is inflicted and un able to earn a support and lias no one whose duty it is to sup port her and she being unable to be removed *o the poor house, therefore the Clerk is ordered to issue warrant to the amount of $5 00 to said Becca Clark as temporary relief as a fianper. It appearing to the Board that Dollie Kirkland was heretofore declared a pauper and ordered removed to the poor house and she is now unable to be removed to the poor house, the Clerk is ordered to issue warrant to the amount of $5 00 as temporary relief to the said Dollie Kirk land It is ordered by the Board that the Clerk advertise for bids to keep the paupers of Neshoba county for the year I9ld, to be received until 12 o’clock on first i 'boiday in Feb. Members and officers present as on yesterday and proceeded to business as follows : It is ordered that the contract for guarding the convicts of Neshoba county Mississippi for the ensuing 12 months was this day awarded to Jim B Wood ward upon the following terms, to-wit ; twenty-five dollars per month for the first convict and $250 per month for each addit ional convict not to exceed at any time thirty-five dollars per month, upon his entering into bond in the sum of $250 00 with two or more good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Board, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duty and the sale keeping of any and all convicts in his charge.
