ORDINANCE NO. 110.
In relation to making all offences under the Penal Laws of the (State of Mississippi, amounting to a misde meanor offense against the raunici* pality of the Town of Philadelphia. Mississippi, and fixing punishment of same etc. Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Philadelphia, Mississippi; That all offenses under the Penal Laws of the State of Mississippi, amounting to a misdemeanor be and they and each of the said Penal Laws are hereby made also offenses against the Town of Philadelphia Mississip pi, when committed within the cor porate limits, to the same effect as though any such offenses were made offenses against the Town of Phila delphia by separate ordinance in each case and upon conviction there of the same punishment shall be im- posed by the Town of Philadelphia Miss., as is provided by the laws of the State of Mississippi, except that no fine imposed by the said Town shall be less than $5.00 nor more than SIOO 00, nor imprisonment for more than 30 days. Sec. 2. Be it further ordained that for cause to-wit: That the criminal is being violated at this time inside the municipality and there being no separate ordinance covering all such crimes that this ordinance be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
