ning at large without first being

The following ordinance was
adopted by sections all voting aye:
AX ORDINANCE
Providing for the quarantining
of ail dogs in the corporate lim
its of the ('il \ of StarkvilleJ i
'is*., ami providing for the
enforcement of same.
He it ordained liy the Mayor and
Hoard of Aldermen of the City of i
S'arkville, Miss,.
Section 1. That all dogs within
the corporate limits of the City of |
Slarkville, Miss., shall he and 1 lie
same,tie herehy declared to
quarantined for a period of 100
days from this the loth day of
December, 101IJ.
Section 2. That it shall be un
lawful for the owner of any nog
to allow or permit any dog to run
at large within the corporate liin
its of the City of S'arkville, with
in stiid peroid of rime.
Seetion and. That any person
guilty of violating this ordinance
shall upon conviction he lined in
any amount not exceeding SIOO.OO,
or by imprisonment not exceeding
00 days, or both.
Section 4. Tint' any dog found
running at large within the copu
late limits of the City of Stark
ville, Mi.-s,, within the limit of
time set forth shall he destroyed
by am police odicer of the City of
Slarkville.
Section 5. That of necessity
and good cause shown, this ordi
nance shall he in force and take
effect from and after dale of its
passage.
